MINE-R-T Doula Company offers a holistic approach to physiological birth. The childbirth education class provides a comprehensive look at the labor process. Our instructor will review the signs of labor, stages of labor, and demonstrate comfort techniques. Participants will learn about birth inside and outside of the hospital environment. We will discuss common interventions and review their risks and benefits while also providing information about alternative approaches to care. We will spend time discussing birth plans as well as postpartum plans. There will be a focus on thoughtful decision-making and remaining in the moment.

Stages of labor

Interventions & Medical Procedures

Birth tools and techniques

Infant feeding options

Postpartum care 

​This childbirth class is designed to prepare pregnant individuals and their support person for childbirth. It is geared towards in-hospital as well as out-of-hospital birth including birth centers, homebirth and water birth options.
